Does anyone have experiences with mast steps? I mean mast steps for climbing up to the mast.
I am affraid that I make structural damages If I drill holes into the mast for the rivets...or it is strong enough?
Does anyone have steps on her/his Vega?

Yes a standard mast should be strong enough. Many Vegas do have steps. Just make sure to use high quality rivets, monet style, to avoid corrosion.
